Despite being delayed by Hurricane Sandy, our favorite can-tastic event is coming back to New York City next month! The 20th annual Canstruction competition will invite designers, makers and architects to try their hand at turning over 100,000 food cans into amazing sculptures like a suspension model of the Brooklyn Bridge , a Converse shoe or Angry Birds . After the event, the cans will be donated to City Harvest to feed hungry New Yorkers and those affected by Hurricane Sandy, so don’t miss it!
